Bergkvist Siljan is a modern sawmill group in Dalarna, where our main owner is the Austrian sawmill group Meyr-Melnhof Holz. For over 100 years, Bergkvist Siljan has managed the trust of forest owners and is today a natural partner for thousands of private forest owners in Central Sweden, where we use the renewable material wood to saw and plane timber products for customers worldwide. Our business idea is based on sustainable and long-term raw material supply from our local area.

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrical Coordinator at Bergkvist Siljan in Blyberg, you will become a key person in our maintenance department, where you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and following up on maintenance efforts within electricity and automation. Here, you will ensure that the daily work in your area is conducted according to applicable guidelines and within the established budget framework while being responsible for high and stable production availability. In addition to the daily maintenance work, you will be responsible for electrical aspects during projects. The role includes personnel responsibility for a team of radio-operated electricians working shifts and close collaboration with colleagues in maintenance and production. In the maintenance department, we always strive for effective maintenance, where work on condition monitoring and orderliness are important parts. As the Electrical Coordinator at Bergkvist Siljan Blyberg, you will report directly to the site manager in Blyberg and be part of the local management team. We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education (3 years) in electricity/automation or equivalent knowledge
• Experience in electricity and automation within the industry
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience in troubleshooting in PLC environments
• Previous leadership experience
• Previous experience with the maintenance system Idhammar is an advantage
